Fendi Vintage Lapin Mama Baguette
A rare & collectible retro Mama Baguette from the 1999 collection, this shoulder bag is crafted in soft black Lapin (rabbit) fur. Black leather trim and dark gunmetal tone hardware complete the design for a truly fun take on a classic.
The Fendi Baguette was first introduced in 1997. Earning its name from the way it was designed to be carried, the rectangular yet skinny shape allows to tuck under the arm, the way the French would tote home a bakery baguette. It's popularity continued to soar after appearing on Sex and the City, and was deemed one of the first 'it bags'.
