Bottega Veneta Suede Marie
This Bottega Veneta Marie silhouette was introduced by creative director Daniel Lee for the Pre-Fall 2019 collection, marking a monumental shift for the fashion house. Ditching the brand’s traditional woven leather (intrecciato), Lee introduced a clean-lined, ultra-minimalist aesthetic. The bag features a rigid, boxy silhouette beautifully contrasted by ultra-plush Cachemire Calf Suede and heavy, architectural gold-tone hardware inspired by high watchmaking (haute horology). Designed with a thick, adjustable flat leather shoulder strap secured with matching gold sliders. The interior is meticulously organized with three distinct pockets (including a zip pocket), accompanied by dual exterior flat slip pockets on the front and back for quick-access items, making it as functional as it is beautiful.
